By Lu Yuzhi. Based on a famous Chinese heroine, Mu Lan Chuan is a popular Wushu training routine that blends traditional Chinese dance and Tai Chi Chuan. The 82-movement form offers a variety of training techniques emphasizing flexibility and coordination. After a demonstration, the movements are taught singly or several at a time in slow motions. The movements are repeated in slow motion three or more times with front, side and rear views, according the the difficulty of the movement. At the end, there are demonstrations, front and back.
