By Jiang Jian-ye. This traditional Xing-Yi sword form is taught step by step in detail. It begins with a demonstration and instructions on how to hold the sword, hands, and feet, as well as sword techniques. Teaching is in slow motion speed with front, side, and back views of the movements. Each posture is shown at slow speed and then gradually faster. Each posture is repeated 3 to 5 times, depending on the difficulty of the movement. Each is shown front, back, and sideways. There are periodic reviews of short segments. Part 1 contains movements 1 through 28. Part 2 teaches movements 29-58. 120 Min. |
